NICKI Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine brightened up their fans’ lives on Friday with a rainbow-and-twerking-filled music video for their new song Trollz.
The collaboration is Tekashi’s second new track since being released from jail early due to coronavirus concerns.
Nicki, 37, and 6ix9ine, 24, have fun with all of the things they love in the colorful video that features multiple outfit changes, lots of candy, money and dancing.
The duo start off in bright red looks, feeding each other cotton candy before things quickly turn scandalous with Nicki twerking in a thong in a bubble-filled tub.
The next time she appears, she’s topless with only pasties covering her up, as she jumps up and down, before randomly dumping a gallon of milk on Tekashi’s head.
Recently-freed, 6ix9ine shows off his softer side with a couple of kittens keeping him company in the Trollz video, but then he later moves on to holding stacks of cash instead.
Currently under house arrest for the remainder of his sentence after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including conspiracy to murder and armed robbery, he makes a point of showing off his ankle monitor in the clip.
In late 2019, He was given a lesser sentence of two years after cooperating with the prosecution and testifying for them.
The collaborators are donating “a portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items” to The Bail Project Inc., Nicki, who married childhood friend Kenneth Petty last year, revealed on Instagram.
She added: “The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial.
“We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police.“
Trollz is Nicki’s first official single of 2020, after releasing promotional track Yikes earlier this year and being featured on both Doja Cat’s Say So remix and Meghan Trainor’s Nice to Meet Ya.
The Say So feature was the 37-year-old’s 109th entry on the Billboard Hot 100 but the first to hit the number one spot.
